The passion of a select few of these learners led to the establishment of Dnyan Prabodhini Mandal Trust with the intention of “Tamso ma jyotirgamaya” to lead the society from the darkness of ignorance towards enlightenment. In 1993, the dream became a reality in the form of Shree Mallikarjun College of Arts & Commerce, Canacona. The College campus is spread over an area of 15000 square meters on the banks of River Talpona on the lap of wooded Western Ghats.
